*Here she is in "Neptune's Daughter" (1949) with Red Skelton singing "Baby It's Cold Outside" in it's first premier to the public.
I've always enjoyed her, as an actress. I was sad to hear when MGM blacklisted her, due to her involvement with the Communist Party. It seemed that she was never looked at in quite the same way anymore. I'm glad to see you've given her the decent respect she deserves. She truly was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI read about the blacklisting and had no idea that had happened. Her performance in "On the Town" with Sinatra is also a favorite of mine. Thank you for your comment.
